Day 5: Families are goofy, aren’t they?

Seems like we’ve had more than our usual share of family time this year. First my dad and his wife Becky were in town in March for a visit from Georgia. Then my Uncle Don and his wife Ann came to visit his sister Pat (my mom) and the rest of us the weekend before last when my brother was graduating from college.

I love in this photo how my mom draped a scarf around herself, her brother and sister-in-law. But even more than that, I love the goofy expression on my brother’s face as he photobombs them!

The more we’re around each other, the easier it is to be silly and have fun. We don’t spend the entire time just catching up on everything that’s happened since the last time we were together.

Get together with your family and friends. And get silly!
